On 15 November 2025, the Haemophilia Society of Singapore marked its 40th Anniversary with a community lunch at YWCA Fort Canning Lodge with 80 members of the haemophilia community joining, from patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals, industry partners, donors, and past committee members.
After welcome remarks and a cake-cutting ceremony, guests enjoyed a buffet lunch and activities around the venue. Our President Gerald Foo shared interim findings from the HSS Survey on unmet needs, highlighting evolving challenges across childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, and later life, as well as the significant impact on caregivers.
We also heard from the World Federation of Hemophilia’s Regional Manager Hazri Aris, who connected HSS’s work to WFH efforts from around the region.

This milestone celebrated not just our history, but the strength of our community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported this event. Your insights and contributions will guide HSS as we continue to advocate for and support families living with haemophilia.
Thank you all for being there!
