Merit Awards

A good education plays a crucial role in a child’s future. The Merit Awards are given out at the end of every year to encourage our children for academic excellence. Members of the society may submit their children’s academic result slips to be considered for the award.

The Dulcie Wilson Scholarship Fund

In memory of Mrs. Dulcie Wilson, Haemophilia Society of Singapore (HSS) have pledged $20,000 to set up the Dulcie Wilson Scholarship Fund to benefit HSS members in their academic endeavours.

Terms and Conditions 

  1.  The Scholarship is open to all paid-up members of the Haemophilia Society of Singapore (HSS) with Haemophilia.
  2. Applicants must be pursuing studies in a recognised local tertiary institution e.g. University or Polytechnic.
  3. Grants a maximum of $1000 per academic year will be granted to successful Polytechnic applicants.
  4. Grants a maximum of $3000 per academic year will be granted to successful University applicants.
  5. Applicants receiving other scholarship grants for the same academic year should disclose this to the HSS.
  6. Successful applicants will be informed ahead of the Polytechnic/ University academic term.
  7. Successful applicants will need to submit a mid-term academic report to the HSS.
  8. The Executive Committee reserves the right to approve or reject ant application and their decision is final.
